What does a dairy-free, gluten-free and sugar-free babe eat for breakfast on a cold winter’s morning? Creamy Chai Quinoa Porridge! This deliciously creamy recipe is super easy and super quick to make, particularly if you have left over quinoa or brown rice in the fridge. My kinda recipe!
1/2 cup organic cooked quinoa
1/4 cup coconut milk or almond milk
1 tablespoon (real) maple syrup, organic rice malt syrup or honey
1 pinch ground cinnamon
1 cardamon pod
*Optional vanilla essence or fresh ginger to taste
Throw everything except syrup (or honey) into a small pot, heat on the stovetop stirring as you go. Once your porridge is hot, remove from heat, serve into bowls, add your syrup and enjoy!
